Summer 2009 Soccer Camps

We are very pleased to once again offer our Week-long Soccer Camp and Positional Camps this summer. The camps are organized and trained by our Director of Coaching (Chad) and his professional coaching staff. The driving force behind this program is to provide additional training options for players who want to continue their development during their off-season. For many, the Summer Soccer program program is an extension of the Pegasus Soccer Club training year. All camps will be held at Brickyards Park in Deerfield.

Camp Descriptions

Week-Long Soccer Camp - July 27 - July 31 (5:00-7:00 pm each evening)
This five-day camp is designed to help players reach their maximum potential on the field in a fun atmosphere. Each camp day will include technical and tactical training, along with basic skills, offensive and defensive fundamentals, and overall knowledge of the game. Each session will conclude with a tournament: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4. The cost for participating in this camp is $100.

Speciality/Positional Camp - Offense - July 20 (5:00-7:00 pm)
This one-day camp will allow players to focus specifically on their attacking skills. Areas of concentration will include: touch, speed, dribbling moves, balance, and finishing. The cost for participating in this camp is $20.

Positional Camp - Defense - July 21 (5:00-7:00 pm)
This one-day camp will allow players to focus specifically on their defending skills. Players will learn the proper way to defend both on and off the ball. Areas of focus will include: delaying, tackling, communication, and speed. The cost for participating in this camp is $20.

Positional Camp - Shooting - July 22 (5:00-7:00 pm)
This one-day camp will help players improve their ability to shoot and score goals. All aspects of shooting will be covered, including technique and mechanics of shooting, creating a shot, and finishing effectively and efficiently. The cost for participating in this camp is $20.

Positional Camp - Goalie - July 22 (5:00-7:00 pm)
This one-day camp will teach goalkeepers the fundamentals of the position. Areas of focus will include technique, body position, communication, and distribution.
